Oh man, that flavour dialogue was fun to write. I work as a technician. For this one show, our performance space required fog. So, of course, one day when our technical director was gone, we did some, ah, extra testing. So we got out the fog machine (not a hazer, mind you, real thick fog), a half dozen laser pointers, and a big fan. Turns out flooding the space takes only five minutes or so, after which point you can't see a person standing in front of you. The more important statistic, of course, is that it only takes 20 minutes for the fog to dissipate.
