Yes, that is a Star Trek uniform. At one point in time, my school's techies were arranged in a Starfleet hierarchy as a method of determining rank and seniority. Though, I would point out, my current rank is Commodore (i.e. Rear Admiral). On an artistic note, I like the uniform design used; it's quite similar to the actual uniforms used in TNG and most of Voyager. It it, however, not good for groups of characters, because there's too much black and very little actual colour. Should I choose to do a Star Trek or other sci-fi military storyline, the uniforms will be significantly different. And easier to make, too....
