Fairly straightforward, though it is a bit more roundabout in the play. Act I ends with both families packing up for the countryside, where both women secretly hope they will never see the other again. We know better, of course. (Because if they didn't, then there would be no show!) I particularly like how the split dialogue worked out. The main lines in the last panel are thoughts, by the way, if that was not clear enough.
